Computing and Control for the Water Industry, CCWI 2016
15 Jan 2017–19 Mar 2017 | Guest editor: E. Abraham | Information
The 14th Computing and Control for the Water Industry conference was held in Amsterdam from 7 to 9 November 2016. As one of the premier international annual conferences on water system modelling and control, it brought together researchers and water practitioners from all continents. The event was very successful, with over a hundred high-quality papers and posters describing new original research being presented. The topics ranged from numerical tools for analysis and design of water distribution networks, real-time management of networks, demand, and water quality modelling, resilience analysis, leakage diagnosis and sensor networks, IoT for smart water monitoring, water treatment, water re-use and resource recovery, and related topics in urban drainage. Some of the submitted papers have been selected to be considered for publication in a special issue in Drinking Water Engineering and Science (DWES), a peer-reviewed open-access journal for the publication of original research in drinking water treatment and supply.
